Galmere Scoops Gold at 2020 Blas na hEireann

The whole team here at Galmere was thrilled to receive two Gold Awards in the prestigious 2020 Blas na hEireann, the Irish Food Awards.

Pestle + Mortar pestos win again!

Our sauces brand Pestle + Mortar picked up Gold for the second year in a row for our Sundried Tomato Red pesto.  We’ve refined our Red and Basil Green pestos in this range, using our many years’ experience making award winning pestos and sauces for our trusted private label clients.  Our Basil Green pesto won Silver in these Awards in 2019.

Galmere has been producing fine food since 1989 and is committed to working with thought leaders and industry experts to create award winning products.

Our products are created for our clients to fit the evolving taste trends of consumers. If you are interested in Galmere and what we offer, and would like to discuss creating award winning products, please contact sales@galmere.ie.

Galmere’s Award-Winning Green Pesto

These consistently award-winning products are crafted in Galway, using hand prepped ingredients, locking in nutrients and fresh flavours early in the process. In order to ensure our pestos are the safest in the market here in Ireland, we HPP them all. The High-Pressure Process keeps all the goodness and eliminates any potential pathogens.

New Consumer Favourite Plant-Friendly and Vegan Roots and Shoots Wins Gold

Roots and Shoots, Galmere’s plant-friendly and vegan brand, won Gold for its Indonesian Chickpea and Coconut vegan soup.

This has been a stand-out consumer favourite since launch and we are all delighted to see consumer choice reflected with an Irish food industry award!

Watch out too for Roots and Shoots Vegan Meal Bowls coming on shelf in November 2020. Made locally in Galway, with global flavours, these bowls are made with only natural, fresh ingredients. Prepped on-site just before cooking, just like home. Naturally low in calories, they deliver hearty and wholesome, healthy meals that are convenient to eat as is, or flex and stretch with cauliflower rice and crisp salads or veggies.
