Our products are created by our culinary team led by Chef Thomas Haughton using local produce where available, and are all crafted at our headquarters and production kitchen in Galway.

Annually, we develop and produce over 13 million pots of branded and private label award winning soups and chowders. Across our ranges we have created a wide variety of traditional favourites, world flavours, plant-based vegan soups and chowders through extensive market research.

All of our soups, chowders and broths are prepared in our kitchens with the finest fresh ingredients.  We lock in freshness and nutrients by preparing vegetables on site, just before cooking. A clean deck, with no unnecessary additives, is one of our central principles.

Our plant based vegan meal bowls are nourishing, hearty and healthy meals.  All natural ingredients in a range full of enticing flavours.  World cuisine, made in Galway.

We produce a complete range of well loved classics and contemporary salads, ranging from traditional home comforts such as – slaws, egg and potato salads, through to more modern options such as wild and red rice with quinoa in a chipotle dressing, or pasta and pine kernels in our signature pesto. 

Galmere also adds fresh inhouse dressings made from scratch in our Galway based production kitchen.

Pestos

We produce multi award winning green and red pesto for both private label, and our own brand Pestle + Mortar, which won both Gold and Silver in 2019’s Blas na hEireann.

Our unique fresh pestos are produced from fresh basil, blended with premium Italian and Irish cheeses.  We use the HPP process unique to Galmere in all our pestos, locking in flavour, freshness and ensuring safe food.

Galmere collaborates with Pizza Da Piero on their much-loved pizza sauce. Our collection also contains a range of dips and sauces including Mayonnaise, BBQ, Chipotle and Hoisin.
