Galmere, alongside their private label offerings, has four inhouse brands which are stocked across the Irish market and the Middle East; where we have found demand for authentic Irish food. The brands are all trademarked, and supported by creative marketing and social media campaigns.

PESTLE + MORTAR
Galmere has been making multi award winning Green + Red pestos for a decade. Pestle + Mortar was developed as our branded premium sauce range in 2017. More recently, in 2023 we released a range of hummus, including Classic, Caramelised Onion and Basil-Topped Hummus.
To date, our pestos have won Gold, Silver and Bronze at Blas na hEireann 2020, 2019 and 2018 in the pesto category. We have also proudly partnered with the multi talented Jennifer Oppermann to create a delicious range of recipes for people to re-create at home, which you can find on our website.

ROOTS AND SHOOTS
Plant-based is the fastest growing trend in food, driven by changing dietary habits. Vegan and plant-based food are experiencing rapid growth, a trend accelerated during lockdown. Developed in 2017, Roots and Shoots is Galmere’s dedicated plant-based and vegan-friendly branded range consisting of a diverse selection of plant-based soups, meals, and salads.
Roots and Shoots Soups include Vegan Indonesian Chickpea, Mexican Bean, Vietnamese Hot and Sour, and Vegetarian Minestrone.
The new Roots and Shoots Vegan Meal Bowls were designed to bring vegan fine dining out of the cafes and restaurants, and into the home. The dishes were created to be flexible to consumers’ needs and made with global flavours. The bowls contain only healthy and natural ingredients; all produced in Galway.
The range consists of a suite of four: Green Lentil Dahl, Kerala Aubergine Curry, Chana Palak Masala and Chickpea and Butternut Tagine, and can be found on-shelf in Tesco Ireland.
All of the Roots and Shoots products are additive, nut, and gluten-free.

JUST FOOD
Created by Ballymaloe trained chef and nutritionist Deirdre Hilliard, and fully partnered with Galmere in 2020, this range of organic foods was developed in 2004 and was originally sold at farmers’ markets.
Founded with a passion about organic food and healthy lifestyle, The Just Food Company is now partnered with Galmere to help the brand realise its full potential; first by launching a tasty and healthy range of vegan sausages, which will be on shelf soon alongside their much loved soups!

Galmere’s first ever contract was to make coleslaw for one of Ireland’s best loved retailers and we have continued to make great salads and fillers for many clients and partners.
Our own brand of Classic Salads includes the most popular and enduring of all of our favourites as well as new, enticing flavours and combinations. All the ingredients for our salads and fillers are prepped fresh onsite, every time and locally sourced in season.

The Galway Kitchen
Inspired by our own Galway based team, The Galway Kitchen is a brand new range of delicious and great value Irish made houmous. Originating with three products; Classic, Reduced Fat and Organic, and more recently Sweet Chilli and Moroccan-Style Houmous.
The range has piquant citrus notes pairing perfectly with the earthy blended chickpeas and tahini. More products to be announced soon. Currently on shelves in Tesco Ireland.
