The Galway Kitchen Ranks No. 2 Among Ireland’s Top Prepared Dips and Sauces Brands in 2023!

Great news for The Galway Kitchen in 2023 Checkout magazine’s Top 100 Brands, produced in association with Nielsen. The report measures the sales performance of over 5,000 brands from over 200 product classes.

At just over a year after launch, The Galway Kitchen has entered the top five as the No. 2 brand in Ireland for prepared dips and sauces by sales! The top five are:

  1. Doritos
  2. The Galway Kitchen
  3. Sol
  4. Primula
  5. Harvest Moon

And we know as well from the consumer reaction we get across social media – the stories shared, plus the many DMs, just how appreciated this range is!

It’s All In The Name:

The Galway Kitchen was an easy choice as a brand name. We are based in Galway, and our philosophy of food-making is simple – make it as you would at home but on a larger scale and without adding anything not found in a home kitchen.

No additives, thickeners, or emulsifiers in our houmous.

We’ve had alot of customer comments that they love knowing from the brand name that what they are popping into their basket is made in Ireland.

 

Dips

A Winning Combo – Value + Quality :

While brands are to some extent losing market share to private label, we can testify that value brands are holding their own. Without compromising on quality, we’ve been able to use our purchasing power and production efficiencies to offer a great Irish made product that retails at a really competitive price.

The Galway Kitchen was a finalist at the IQFDA 2023 for our Classic Houmous, and we’re looking forward to the Blas na hEireann at the end of the month, where TGK Classic and Organic Houmous are finalists.

No Slouch On Growth

The Galway Kitchen range currently includes Classic, Organic, Reduced Fat, Moroccan style and Sweet Chilli Houmous. Shortly we will be launching a range of pestos, using all our experience in making many multi-award-winning pestos. A range of single-serving, healthy and hearty ready meals are in the pipeline as well within The Galway Kitchen family.

And Finally…

Currently listed nationwide in Tesco Ireland stores, The Galway Kitchen will be also on shelf in SuperValu stores across the country shortly!
